Marking Our 14th Anniversary and Embracing the 15th Chapter

Although belated, we’re pleased to share that Bluemoon Marketing celebrated its 14th anniversary on July 7, and has now entered its 15th year.
We owe this milestone to all those who have supported us since our founding, and to our dedicated team members — and their families — who walk this journey with us every day. We are deeply grateful.

In recent years, it has taken longer than we hoped to bring our ideas to life. But in this 15th year, we’re finally entering a phase where we can share tangible results and deliver meaningful value to many more people.

We’re now preparing to launch a beta version of a new platform that connects “foreign-language media (overseas and Japan-based)” with “travel- and tourism-related facilities and services in Japan.”
This new platform represents part of our PR service offering and marks the first time we’ve developed an in-house system. It is still a work in progress — but one we’re committed to improving as we go.

Ahead of the domestic beta launch, we hosted a pre-launch event on Saturday, July 13, inviting 15 valued members of the international media and influencer community. The event was also a chance to express our heartfelt gratitude for their ongoing support.
(Most attendees were based in Japan, but we also welcomed a few who were visiting on overseas assignments.)

The venue was SUIGIAN, a hidden gem of a restaurant and bar in Nihonbashi, curated by globally renowned artist Hidetomo Kimura, a dear classmate from my graduate school days.
With a Noh stage at its center, the venue offers a truly unique experience — bringing live traditional Japanese performing arts into a refined dining setting.

The first time I visited SUIGIAN, I was amazed such a special place existed. I thought: “I’d love to help share this with more people — especially overseas visitors.”
After several visits and a string of serendipitous events in April and May of this year, I was fortunate to be able to host this meaningful event for Bluemoon.
(Thank you again to everyone who made it possible!)

This new platform, Blue Match, is the culmination of Bluemoon’s 14-year journey — and of my own professional path in tourism and travel.
It is designed to reconnect us with all the people and organizations we’ve worked with over the years.
We hope it will be used by travel- and tourism-related businesses and local communities in Japan — like SUIGIAN — who want to share their stories with inbound travelers and foreign residents.
At the same time, we will continue to expand our global outreach to media who are eager to discover and report on these stories.

At a time when Japan is facing many social challenges, we remain committed to our vision:
“Connecting Japan and the world, people and society, through communication.”
And our mission:
“Creating new value together with our clients, through the power of travel, IT, and marketing.”

With that in mind, we at Bluemoon will continue doing our utmost to support the tourism and travel industry and to be of service to as many people as possible.

Thank you for your continued trust and partnership.
