 [Event Report] Joined Smart City Social Implementation Consortium Seminar

On September 11, 2024, we had the opportunity to speak at a session hosted by the Smart City Social Implementation Consortium, titled:
“Inbound Recovery! Enhancing Urban Appeal and the Future of Inbound Tourism in Tokyo and Osaka — Aiming for a Win-Win-Win Destination.”

The hybrid event took place at NEC Corporation’s headquarters and online, drawing over 100 participants — including tourism businesses facing challenges related to inbound tourism and labor shortages, as well as organizations with interest or initiatives in tourism.

As a case study, we introduced our new matching platform, Blue Match, which connects tourism operators with international media for hands-on press experiences. The service is designed to boost exposure and storytelling opportunities in the global tourism market.

Following the seminar, our CEO Ayako Noda joined the networking reception. It was a wonderful chance to speak with many attendees in a relaxed setting. Thanks to the presentation, several participants approached us to share their feedback on Blue Match and discuss their current challenges related to inbound tourism — making it a highly meaningful and insightful time for us.

Blue Match is still in its early stages, but we’re committed to actively using speaking opportunities like this to increase visibility, reach more users, and grow the platform further.
